Rev. Rich can help Eastland Baptist Church couples with all aspects of planning their wedding, including, officiating, coordinating, vendor selection, ceremony music, transportation and a host of other details. Depending on the size of the wedding the planning process can be intimidating. He and his associates can be as involved in this process as you need. Listed below are the basic wedding rental options. Bridal Photo Session: $100 Per Hour* Included in this package are the following provisions and restrictions:
1. Minimum of one (1) hour rental of the sanctuary with changing rooms. Both indoor and outdoor photography is acceptable. 2. Eastland Baptist Church Wedding Coordinator or Event Host to supervise the session. 3. Session is limited to the bride, one assistant, photographer and his/her assistants. 4. Fee is due in full upon conclusion of session by cash or guaranteed check.
*Pulpit and stage furnishings may be removed for an additional charge of $100.00.
Elopement Wedding Ceremony $500.00* Included in this package are the following provisions and restrictions:
1. One (1) hour rental of the sanctuary with changing rooms, based on availability. No separate rehearsal time is allowed. 2. Eastland Baptist Church Director of Weddings & Rentals must officiate and/or supervise ceremony. 4. Bridal party, vendors and guests are limited to ten (10) people. 5. No reception or any food or beverage is allowed. Use of sound system is not permitted. 6. Only the pulpit and altar table will be removed from stage area if requested. 7. No deposit is required. Full fee is due prior to the start of the ceremony by cash or guaranteed check.

Traditional Wedding Ceremony $1,200.00 Included in the package are the following provisions and restrictions:
1. Four (4) Hour Rental of sanctuary, changing spaces and kitchen area; one (1) hour rehearsal (subject to availability) to be scheduled by Rev. Rich. 2. Guest registry table and gift table (if needed) in front foyer. 3. Dressing rooms for bride and groom. 4. Use of sanctuary grand piano and pipe organ. 5. Use of of candelabras. Bridal party must supply dripless candles when using church candelabras. 6. All stage and choir furniture will be removed except the piano and organ console. 7. All sanctuary seating available on main floor and all three balconies. 8. Deposit of $300 is required with contract. Full fee with any upgrades due thirty (30) days prior to the wedding.
Upgrades
Wedding Coordination $500 Rev. Rich can provide full coordination and direction of your ceremony personally or by way of one of his staff event coordinators. This includes basic advance planning, recommendation of preferred vendors, coordination of and communication with all wedding vendors and direction of the wedding rehearsal and ceremony. The charge for this upgrade is $500.00
Wedding Officiating Services $300 Rev. Rich can provide wedding ceremony officiating services personally or by way of one of his associate ministers. The charge for this upgrade is $300.00. Please note that outside officiants must be approved by Rev. Rich at Eastland Baptist Church.
Sound System $150 The church sound technician can be secured for rehearsal and ceremony to set up microphones for readers and musicians and to play recorded music. The charge for this upgrade is $150.00.

Reminders:
Eastland Baptist Church requires that all couples complete a basic course in premarital counseling, to be supervised by Rev. Rich. There is no additional charge for the counseling, plus this entitles couples to a significant discount off of the cost of their marriage license.
Couples do not have to be members of Eastland Baptist Church in order to be married there.
Eastland Baptist Church requires that all wedding ceremonies be officiated by a traditionally ordained minister of the Christian faith, who must be approved by Rev. Rich prior to the wedding.
Only couples consisting of one man and one woman are permitted to marry at Eastland Baptist Church.
No alcohol is permitted at Eastland Baptist Church.
The facilities of Eastland Baptist Church are not available for reception rentals. Please contact Rev. Rich to see if Belmont Mansion or another Nashville-area venue would provide a viable reception option. Several venues in the downtown Nashville area are mentioned on the Officiants & Coordinators page of this website.
In addition to weddings, the sanctuary and chapel* of Eastland Baptist Church may be rented for funerals, memorial services or other large and otherwise appropriate gatherings during non-worship times, subject to availability and approval. Please contact Rev. Rich for prices and details. *Note: Eastland’s chapel is scheduled for much-needed renovations in the near future and may not be available.
Please review the Eastland Baptist Church Wedding Rental contract or contact Rev. Rich for further details. Rev. Rich schedules and conducts all bridal preview visits personally and by appointment only. Please note that Rev. Rich’s office is at Belmont Mansion, therefore unplanned drop-in visits to preview the church are not possible. Bookings are reserved on a first come, first served basis with a signed contract and $300 security deposit.
